Cinderella

I am back at the beginning;
'Once upon a time,
There was a handsome prince,
Searching for a beautiful lady to marry.'

I can't believe
'Life dealt its cards,
And Cinderella had to do all the housework,
Before she could go to the ball.'

I admit its true though,
'She had no pretty gowns to wear,
No silk slippers on her feet,
And no glittering jewels in her hair.'

I don't want everything to end,
'Cinderella tried to come up with something,
But she couldn't find anything.
So in despair, she sank to the ground.'

I am crying tears of blood,
'As soon as the tears touch the ground,
A fairy godmother appears,
Giving Cinderella all she needs.'

I felt a momentary happiness when he appeared,
' "But you must be back when the clock strikes twelve,
Everything would return to the original state.
And you will be what you used to be." '

But everything is just a dream,
'Happily dancing with the handsome prince,
Her stepmother and stepsisters saw her,
But they didn't recognise her.'

It came to an end,
'Ding Dong..., the clock strikes twelve,
Cinderella ran out leaving a glass shoe,
A little too late; everything changed.'

It stops here,
'The prince found Cinderella,
He slipped the glass slipper onto her feet,
And they live happily ever after.'
