That life could be this enriching,

Simply with the presence

Of another person.

I didn't know,

That a moment could stretch to an eternity,

Just because,

You were there.

I didn't know,

That hours could never be enough,

When we are looking

Into each other's eyes.

I didn't know,

That feeling is so special,

It makes me shy,

To know that you cared.

Now I know,

The reasons why I never,

Able to get close,

To another person.

Now I know,

Why they say its special,

When its mutual,

'Cause I feel that way too.

Now I know,

More about what the poets call love

Its new,

But I am willing to try.
