I wonder,
If the skies will always remain blue,
Just like the days in David's time,
When he wrote his psalms and played his harp.

I wonder,
If the sun will remain as bright,
Just like the days in Adam's life,
Where he spent his last hours in the Garden of Eden.

I wonder,
If the rainbow will remain as fascinating,
Just like the promise of God to Noah,
Where he lived while the world perished.

I wonder,
If the stars will remain as beautiful,
Just like the oaths of old,
When a man gives his heart to a woman.

I wonder,
If the moon will remain as pure,
Just like the beauty of the night,
As it stays inadulterated through the ages.

The beauty if nature is breathtaking,
But it never enough.
My Maker,
Don't just stop there,
I know,
That only you can fill this void in me,
The one that overwhelms me,
And makes me lose sight.

Lord,
Help me overcome this,
No matter how right it is,
If you do not wish it.
Help me,
For I am drowning
And I'm struggling to breathe.
